im headed to europe in August but havent decided where to go yet does anyone know where the best places to boulder and climb are in europe are? thanks

Fontainbleu, an hour from paris by train or rental car. Check out the english book "Fontainbleu Climbs" for more info. I think we're moving back in July but that may change - PM closer to time if you're looking for more info or someone to climb with.

Hi, In france, for bouldering, Fontainebleau for sure. for long alpine routes, les alpes. (Chamonix area, or ailefroide near briançon... as examples) for shorter route but also athletic, lot of spots in the south east (Orpierre, Buoux, les dentelles, les calanques, Le Verdon...). I don't know very much in the pyrénées area or in the center. hope it'll help you, good climb jérôme

depends on the season. if its colder, consider france, spain and the mediterran. if its hot, you have central europe (alps&co)
