FWIW, I visited Phoenix once for business and linked up w/ a guy from rc.com to climb at Camelback - was a pretty good destination for some easy-access sport climbing. The routes were good and the access to the place was perfect - basically in the middle of town with a simple approach. All in all, it worked out well for such a short trip to be able to get some climbing in, especially in a new state (for me). Might be worth a look. Hope this helps. Mick
