I am looking at getting a Mad Pad. What is the word on them. I have heard some good things, but if anyone has one, what do you think? Also I can't find any online retailers. If anyone knows someone who is selling them and will ship to AL, that would rock. Thanks, Matthew

That thing's hard to get good info on... I just emailed Pagan Gear the other day, and they said they sold out of their first shipment in record time! There should be more coming in a few weeks. (the demand was so high, they literally took it off their site!)

my question. Is the Mad Pad made my Mad Rock? My apologies for the noob nature of the question. I've got a Misty Mountain and love it to death. I'm looking for an economical 2nd and am just now learning about some of these other companies.

Monstrous: 4 feet by 5 feet, and 4.5" or 5" thick.

the pad is sweet. one of my buddies has one, it was a pleasure just to sit on it around the campfire - and the price is unbeatable!

I just ordered mine from a local store. I e-mailed mad rock and the dimensions are 4foot by 6foot by 5inches. the coolest part is the pad fold in to a sofa like a crazy creek folds into a chair...

Mad rock's website sucks. They really could use a little more work put into it. That said, it looks like a great pad. I may look into this one when I get the money to buy one of these. :)

In reply to: Mad rock's website sucks. They really could use a little more work put into it. i've seen much worse. for a fairly new company, i think they're doing alright. but yes, it could use a revamp.

How very odd. In my email Joe told me 2 layers of foam. According to the gear section here the pad is $120. When I asked where I could get one, Joe told me to try www.pagangear.com because they don't have any dealers near me. It currently isn't on their website though.

I just ordered the last one today from Pagan Gear. The price was $119.95 and that supposedly includes a free chalkbag. The pad shall be in next week so I'll be sure to let you know what it feels like as soon as it comes in!

I've been back and forth with Pagan Gear for two weeks, and they've insisted that they sold out a few weeks ago. Makes me question the company...
