Dear Great Dr. Piton, As I have recently made the jump from sport climbing to big wall climbing, I find that my puny arms and legs are no match for the MASSIVE RACK I must carry up the entire wall. Although many years of sport climbing have decreased the size of my testicles considerably due to atrophy secondary to disuse, I am now leading A3+ and they are starting to hypertrophy again whick adds more poundage to me. So I ask you, Dr. Piton, why do I have to carry every piece of gear we have on every pitch when I don't use all of it. I don't want to be stuck without a necessary piece, but I don't like to carry it all. There has to be a better way!!! I've heard of "tagging" but that sounds like a child's game. I certainly don't want to be acting like a child on a wall!! And what's the difference between tagging and zipping?? Yours truly, Skippy the Sport Climber [ This Message was edited by: addiroids on 2002-04-10 16:42 ]

Pete, Good to hear that your're busy 'cause it's been boring around here while you were in a hole in the ground. Patiently Awaiting Enlightenment, Jeff [ This Message was edited by: krustyklimber on 2002-04-10 17:43 ]
