any tips of suggestions? this is what I have:
#1-3 Camalots
double 0 TCUs (purple) and one each of #1-4 TCU. Thinking of adding one or two small Aliens. (blue and green?)
#1-2.5 forged Friends in half sizes with 6mm "gunks tie-offs" (but haven't used the tie-off method b/f)
BD stoppers #3-11, doubles of #7
a few BD hexes
3 petzl spirit quickdraws, a bunch of runners, incl a few doubles and triples, and a bunch of carabiners, 1 yates screamer, two cordelettes. some small lockers and a few big lockers, plus 1 ATC
one 60 meter rope (a sterling bandit)
two 40' lengths of webbing, and two static ropes (40' and 80') for TR anchors.

What, no tricams? If you've never used them elsewhere, the frequent horizontal s at the Gunks will provide your golden opportunity.
Seriously though, you rack looks fine except for the occasional route that requires wide gear. I'm assuming that you have heard about Gunks roofs and have a decent supply of 24" and a few 36" runners to reduce rope drag.
Oh, and tricams are genuinely useful at the Gunks.

I'll second the pink and red tricams, maybe a few pieces bigger than the #3 cam, and doubling up on the rest of your stoppers can never hurt.

probably only need single cams from blue alien to #3 camalot.
2 each of the smallest 2-3 tricams and a double set of nuts
dozen 24" runners
2 48"runners and the request biners
2 cordalettes and a helmet
anything really more than that is overkill as far as required gear

yeah -- I do have a helmet. forgot to include that.
haven't used lowe tri-cams before, and I know people really like them at the gunks. maybe I'll get one or two this season and start learning how to use them.
I'll probably get some more stoppers and make sure I have enough long runners.
I also think I might need a .75 camalot, b/c I think I have a gap between my #4 tcu and my #1 camalot.

It aint a gunks rack without a couple pink tricams.
Seriously...those horizontals eat those things up. The pink tricam and yellow alien are about as close to perfect as you can get there.
Other than that you seem to be in good shape. Of course it depends on what route you are doing. Your rack as it is will be fine for most everything in the gunks, though there are some that will want more thin gear and I have used up to a #4.5 camalot

red and smaller aliens...
red and smaller metolius...
tricams.... pink and red are good but get the brown and blue, also...
2 sets camalots to #3 although 4's are useful...

Thanks for all the great advice on Gunks pro! Now if someone can only arrange some good weather!!
one really small thing:
I when I ordered a Red TCU (#4) recently, they sent me the four-cam metolious "power cam" by accident. I cleared it up with them, and now I've got one of both sitting back at home. I'm going to send one back to them. I thought I would keep the FCU as it seemed more stable (but I still prefer TCU's for all the smaller sizes).
Does anyone think, for the gunks it would be better to have the slightly narrower TCU? I'll be using #0-#3 TCUs for sure.
kinda a nitpicky point, I know.

No, narrow tcu is not necessary.
I might be the only one here with this opinon, but double up on the stoppers, not the tricams.

Like everyone else said, invest in some tricams. My Gunks rack consists of the 4 smallest tricams, a set of BD stoppers, with doubles from 6-9, WC Tech Friends #0.5 to #4, forged friends #1.0 to 2.0, lots of slings and a couple cordelettes.
I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, but double ropes (and the knowledge of how to use them) come in very handy at the Gunks. There's actually an article on this over at Gunks.com. Not only do they help reduce rope drag, but IF you decide to rap down, don't have to trail another rope just for this purpose.
