Anybody climb Haystack, Corrugation Corner? Is it wet or climbable???

Thinking of going up and climbing tomorrow teaching a newbie. I could handle a bit of wet crack, but I don't think my partner will.

Thaks

I have climbed corrugation while there was still a lot of snow and the approach was somewhat humbling. Haystack or anything on the east wall is a better bet. Your approach shoes will probably get wet if there is enough snow, but the climbing should be fine. Haystack will be wet under the crux roof, but you can traverse right onto dikes at the same grade. The descent is fun in the snow because you can glissade down the snow covered slabs. It has been pretty warm lately, and they haven't had any real recent storms. I say go for it and either deal with wet approach shoes or waterproof some leather boots and throw them in a pack. Best of luck.

I climbed at Phantom Spires last Friday, some snow but great weather. Recent rain and snow at the higher elevations have made the Leap wet and cold. We expect more rain and snow up high this Friday. Gym time boys for aother week.
