if it were just me, I'd have left this up, but since someone else's rep is involved... I thought this would just be something for folks to laugh at, but it turned out rather terrible. Sorry if I mislead anyone overmuch. I still love you all.

Hah! The exact same thing happened to me a month ago! Except she dreamed I cheated on her with a friend of hers. Her dream, my fault :?:

Sounds to me you need to explain to your girlfriend the difference between dreams and reality. Good luck. Pie charts can be helpful. REAL......................NOT REAL.................MIGHT BE REAL mom.......................dreams ........................Santa dad.........................movies .........................chupacabre me......................... Fred Becky ..................this joint

I thought HE dreamed it, but sure enough SHE dreamed something and then got mad at him for it. If I were you and she were really mad at me for something SHE dreamed, I'd be so outta there. There is NO future if she's actually mad enough to hit you for something she dreamed. Rob

Well if you know women this should be no news, even if you donīt know them this should be no news, one my girlfriend was kind of mad with me because she was dreaming that I was cheating on her. Another annoying thing is the "THAT" or "NOTHING" or "YOU KNOW", does this rings a bell: Him: Whatīs wrong? Her: NOTHING!!!! Him: What have I done? Her: YOU KNOW what have you done (and you dont have a clue!!!) Her: You have done THAT thing you promissed not to do!!! (you still donīt have a clue!)

Oh, you poor poor fellow. I wish I could tell you this is a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence, but if she's dreamed it once she'll dream other bad things about you and consider them a reflection on real life. Especially if she believes she has psychic (not psycho) tendancies. And, unforturnately for you, you will always be the guilty party. Of course, your gf will never dream of you bringing her flowers or anything.

Being mad at you for something she dreamed is bad enough, but violence = walking papers. If she really seriously hit you, then there should be no second chance. Put her and her shit on the street.

Bah, I don't think he needs professional help. Just some clarity and a pair. "You. Ex-girlfriend. Getthefeckouttamyhouseyouloon!" If it'll make you feel better, I wouldn't mind a fee of US$250 for that bit of not-priceless advice. Really. She's mad enough to hit you. Hard. For something she DREAMED. What's she gonna do if, $DIETY forbid, you ever actually dare to do something wrong? Like snore? Or look at another woman without ripping your eyeballs out? Not worth it. Rob

Read some of this [thingsmygirlfriendandIhavearguedabout.com] for even more humorous anecdotes by some other dude in a similar situation. He even has a disclaimer, written specifically to those folks who think that he's an idiot for putting up with the kind of girlfriend that he writes about in those little slices.

In reply to: There is NO future if she's actually mad enough to hit you for something she dreamed. Wow. Note to self... I disagree. Was she completely awake? I do crazy stuff in my drowsy half sleep sometimes. I remember not too long ago being very pi$$ed at my significant other in the middle of the night because he was completely asleep and I couldn't quite get to sleep. Totally irrational. Maybe I wanted to hit him. (Luckily, he's such a deep sleeper, he wouldn't have noticed if I did.) ;-) Diana

In reply to: Wow. Note to self... Yep. I disclaim liability for things *I* dream. There's nooooooooo way I'm going to accept responsibility for anyone else's dreams. That's crazy talk.
In reply to: I disagree. Was she completely awake? I do crazy stuff in my drowsy half sleep sometimes. You may have missed the part where she was still acting "betrayed", I think he said...six hours later. That is so absolutely wrong. Things you think, do, or say while asleep can be pretty random. I'm a veritable Jeckyl/Hyde in that nebulous inbetween zone, or can be, anyway. I'll give passes pretty easily for stuff like that, but if I was the one doing crazy stuff, you'd better believe I'd be embarassed and apologetic 6 hours later. Certainly not still pissed at them for something that happened in my head. Rob

Remember that Calvin and Hobbes when Calvin's mom was sick, and he asked if she was going to have another kid? Dad said something like "No, wse could tell if she were, because she'd look like a hippo with a gland problem." The last panel said "That's when mom CREAMED him with her pillow." [edit to remove meat] move along citizens. nothing to see here
