oh kimmy, you're too young or don't watch cable. It's from 'the Prisoner" tv show.............British from the sixties/seventies. Watched it as a uni student in the early eighties. We used to watch it sunday night and debate it for hours on end. oh yeah and smoke lots of weed too heeeeee heeeee

Yes, little one, The Prisoner is the benchmark by which all subsequent television is judged. It was a singular occurrence and marked the only point that the medium has risen above excrementally putrid.

The series creator, Patrick McGoohan, paid a heavy price for this flight of fancy, and the last episode of The Prisoner signaled the end of his career, in many respects.

People's reaction to the series is contingent upon their personality type; my girlfriend found it a frightful bore. If, however, you are of the type that is deeply moved by Waiting for Godot, and others of its like, you will make the transition to McGoohan devotee in no time at all.
