Looked at Throwin the Houlihan once, years ago. There were some well spaced pockets, it was way steep and the start looked pretty fierce. After checking out the route for a few minutes we went and did some 5.10s and some 5.11s.

I posted this on another thread, but it has since been buried.

What are snow conditions likely to be like the last week of May? Anyone have any beta. I'm meeting a friend who is coming in a two wheel drive car and I'm not sure either one of us would want to deal with a huge amount of snow camping/hiking etc.

As an aside, is there a place to camp near Sinks with a dog? (It's my friend's dog--I've already read all the heated dog threads.)

Thanks

Snow shouldn't be a problem up at Sinks. Can't speak for Wild Iris. All the roads should be clear too.
