I have a friend who is definitely stronger than me, by which I mean he can lift more. But I am a far stronger climber. We are almost completely evenly matched arm wrestling. It's not to fun to watch 'cause we just sit there in a dead lock. I don't know, my money's on Sharma.

Ummm...Sharma's finger tips might be pretty strong for his weight, and he's a pretty fit fella I imagine, but his gurly muscles are nothing compared most of the bruiser arm wrestler dudes out there.
But he'd look pretty good in his Prana threads.

Yeah i agree I think Sharma may be strong and could probably most definatly kick my ass in arm wrestling, but i think Fred would just crush him, I swear that guys forarms are immensly insane!!! Maybe we should pitch this idea to the PCA or Boulder Blast, and start adding it as a side event! :lol:

If any of you burley climbers want to try it out. The world wristwrestling championships are held in Petaluma, California on the second Saturday in October. I hope to see all mutant forearm types there.

i think you all over estimate technique with arm wrestling, I am not huge by any stretch (6'0'' 190 lbs) but i have won amatuer arm wrestlign competitions agaisnt guys much larger than me, its not just stregnth and massive arm size, speed and technique play a large role

Lets see, world's best Rock Climber v. World Champion arm wrestler?
Sharma is a good climber, but I don't think he could beat out Ian Thorpe in swimming, or Michael Johnson in the 400. The arm-wrestler would win.

I think that if you gather the 5 best climbers in the world and the 5 best football players and make them arm wrestle, the climbers would kick the football players' asses pretty easy... no problemo mi amigo.

I just checked out a bit of info on armwrestling.
I never knew it was so big. It's seriously a huge sport. Do a search or two for yourself, or check out some links: http://www.pinarm.com/Links/links.htm

ive seen sharma climb at his homegym, so u guys should seriously stop fantasizing. his arms are built for movement and endurance, not outright strength. so obviously he would lose. BUT!! i WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE LOOK ON THAT GUYS FACE IF SHARMA BEAT HIM~> :wtf:
