So I was fliping through my local paper (the kind that covers local human interest stories and comes out three times a week)and I noticed an add for Indoor "Glow in the Dark Indoor Rock Climbing". Has anyone heard of this place??? It's apprently on the Norther Service Road. What gives? Is it a real gym, or an amuesment gimic thing (at this point I'm assuming the latter). Oh well, any beta is apriciated.

There IS a small climbing gym, I have heard, on North Service Road, but I have never been. Despite the fact that Oakville is my home town, this should not surprise you!

hey guys... my home town is also Oakville. I went by about 2 or 3 years ago to check it out. It is more of a martial arts school than a climbing gym (from what i remember). The walls are probably 15 feet high or so. Its been a while, but I dont remember there being much square footage. I live in Oakville and never considered going there to climb to give you an idea of the calibre (lack of). Hope this helps.

one time, at our local gym, we (arete2 and myself) were climbing in the bouldering cave (upstairs) and it was getting close to closing time. usually they give a 'last climb' notice. Either we didn't hear it or they didn't give one. Anyway, the point of my story is: they turned off the lights and we were climbing for a few minutes in pitch black. Kinda fun and a heck of a lot more difficult to watch your footwork.

Ok thanks people. Just didn't want to be missing the boat on a gym close to home. I'm glad I'm not!
