I have my climbing record public right now, but when i put one of the ascents in private it disappeared from the list in my profile. I was already logged in, and viewing it froma my own account.
Is there a way to put all my ascents in private form, but still can view my climbing record from my account? I mean the ordered list that appears when it is public.

I have the same question. How to view my "private" ascents log?

Has this been answered?
I would prefer to keep a list of my Ascents private. but still have personal access to my whole list thru my profile.
I am assuming this is not possible. If so, can we add it to the suggestions.

A Private Ascent log with links to those routes and others who have climbed them would be sweet.

Why would you want to put an ascent in private? Just curious, are there any benefits to doing it that way, or is it to just prevent others from seeing it?

I asumed it was to keep a private record of acents. Unfortunatly it logs the acents for the climb but doesn't list them in your public list. and I don't see any way to view my private list so I have no idea if I've recorded an ascent or not without going and looking at that climb directly.
I was hoping to keep a private journal of ascents here but I guess not.
-my guide books are starting to get a bit hard to read...

But wouldn't having it public also allow you to keep log of ascents, I guess what I'm wondering is what's the difference between the public and private ascent lists other than the fact that one is private and the other's public?

Nothing I guess. I just don't wantta spray all the hard 5.2's i've onsited/pinkpoint

I entered most of my GUNKS climbs in as Private and I don't want to duplicate that work.
