As you all know community is a special place filled with special people. It is different from the rest of rc.com. we do allow much more to go on here that simply would not (or should not) be tolerated on the rest of the site.
We like to see robust debate in this forum and of course there are the occassional flame wars and trollery. nothing like we`d see on b.com or rec.climbing mind you.
The thing is that of late things have been getting a little too personal. This post is
NOT here to single anyone out but rather more as a let`s all keep it to the issues.
Don`t get nasty and personal in the debates that rage in here. Certainly debate the issues robustly but if you are going to get personal and spiteful there will be consequences. Do take the time to review the TOS. You`ll find it listed under About at the top tool bar on every page on the website.
I really do not have an issue with people who present a contrarian view during a debate, if we didn`t have such people then we would become a mutual admiration society and where would be the fun in that.

My hunch: Any efort to try and control what people post here will immediately be refuted, dashed to the ground, mocked, ignored, ridiculed, burnt alive, laughed at, dismissed and flamed. As it should be.
