I have my climbing record public right now, but when i put one of the ascents in private it disappeared from the list in my profile. I was already logged in, and viewing it froma my own account.
Is there a way to put all my ascents in private form, but still can view my climbing record from my account? I mean the ordered list that appears when it is public.

hey, if you want your topic to reapear on the FP, you can "bump" it. just open it and add a reply that says "bump".

heres the original topic:http://www.rockclimbing.com/...iewtopic.php?t=60841

why make them private anyway???

I don't think you can make it private and still have it appear on your list. Only way to see if you have climbed a route before if it is a private record is to go to to that route itself. That's as far as I know.

So you can always check if you have climbed a route, but its not easy to find out how many routes you have climbed if you have many private records.

Go to the ascents you want private, click "edit", and chose "private", click "submit".
