The results of the Phoenix Bouldering Contest are now on-line at http://www.phoenixboulderingcontest.com/results/results2002category.htm Sharma won the men's; Lisa Rands, the women's. No surprises there. Tommy Caldwell finished in 3rd, just one spot down from last year's pre-finger amputation finish. -Jay

Ya know... If I had youth, technique, and raw talent...I too could do well at a bouldering contest. However, seeing as I lack any of the above attributes...I dedicated my talents to observing the PBC. Outstanding performances by all who competed…and equally outstanding performances by all who observed. (Smile) If you couldn't make it out there this year, please plan on a trip to AZ next year. Weird. I know (as in hang out with, climb)some people on that list. . . of course, since the list has the names of all the competitors, it's not that weird. Thanks for posting the results, as I was too lazy to go looking for them myself.
