yeah, i know - what a wonderful time of year to head south. my kiddo and i will be heading through oklahoma next weekend, and i might trek on down to austin if there's climbing partners to be had.

Good luck...watch out for the sun. I was in the Witchitas 2 of the last 3 weekends and that sun can be brutal. Much hotter there than in North Arkansas. Anyways...have a great trip! Bryan

I just drove from Austin to Tucson - didn't see any shade to chase after leaving the Hill Country.

She does not come on this site much any more, but nnichols is in or near Austin I beleive, and climbs pretty hard, and also has a son. She is very nice and has a good sense of humor.

I dont know if your planning on climbing in OK but, Im always looking for partners to head down to the wichitas or quartz to climb with. If you want to meet up I can follow up to 5.9 and am just begining to lead the easy stuff. Pm or email me if your interested Chris

uhh, he's referring to some of my gear. if i can find people to climb with in austin, i might make the drive - but it's three hours in the wrong direction to drive for draws. i'd send you my mailing address again, but that never seems to work. ;) amber
