I will be in Williamsburg for a few day next week. Is there any kind of climbing, even bouldering, anywhere close to Williamsburg?

Nope - welcome to Flatland, USA. The closest is the Virginia Beach Rock Gym about an hour south on I64 depending on traffic through the Chesapeake Bay tunnel.

There is a wall on campus, holds cemented to a brick wall. It's nice for a workout, but other than that, the only 'local' areas are gyms and they're both an hour or so away. (Peak Experiences in Richmond and VA Beach Rock Gym)

(Peak Experiences in Richmond and VA Beach Rock Gym) what he said... i have posted this in the routes database maybe a year or so ago.. not great unless all you're worried about is getting weak while you're on vacation... Thanks for the info. I saw that listed in Rock n Road and nothing else and was hoping he missed something in the guide. I will only be there for a few days so I won't worry about it too much. Bummer. They should at least have few rocks big enough to boulder. Oh well.
