Have any of you made new friends because of RC..?
I have!
I've made a number of friends because of RC (and a few enemies), but the one constant variable is that we all met each other because of RC... Having had yet another great weekend with folks from RC, I have decided to become a site partner and contribute my $20 to help the site continue to grow, and would hope that more of you that have met climbing partners and made friendships because of RC would consider doing so.
I've operated boards in the past, and thus I know how expensive it can be as more and more bandwith is used.
Anyway, if you haven't already done so, consider supporting RC with a few bucks here and there! :wink:

I havn't met anyone yet, alot of people have messaged me from the area though. If it ever dries out enough here to actually get a good day of climbing in, I'm thinkin of organizing everyone into a big outing and having a blast. hehe.
And I contributed a long time ago ;) WOOHOO! Actually..I think it's about time to contribute again....

I have met many of my best friends (and climbing partners) through this site. Couldn't ask for a whole lot more, except maybe a few million dollars. :mrgreen:

Most of my climbing friends are from the site.
I have met and/or climbed with almost 270 users in the past few years, and about 20 of them are regular partners.

I have. I met my current climbing partner and good friend. Never thought that would happen over the internet. Turns out the internet isn't completely worthless.

29 of the 72 names in my cell phone are RC.commers. I haven't met them all through the site, but I've met a lot of them. Some of my best friends I did indeed meet through the site. Very weird.

I'd like to meet people from this site, but it's difficult being over here in Aus-land. There are a 'few' of us Aussies on the site (what, around 80 or so), but even with them it's difficult to meet up. I have one person on my friends list and that's because I see him anyway during the week at the gym. One day I'll blast on over to the states again, and hook up with a few of ya's! Until then, climb on!
