i've spent many a fun day there. user-friendly rock, short approaches, beautiful river and fern setting, not to be missed. don't just limit yourself to thompson's point either. check out the other walls as the nature of the climbing changes somewhat from wall to wall. as a side note, some of the rudest routes names i've ever found exist here. anyone climb at P.C. lately (and that doesn't stand for Politically Correct!)?

Hi, Nowra is the bomb, stuff for everyone, cheap camping, great rock awesome acess, i love it soooo much, I spent 9 days there this easter, its hard on the tips, but you can always have a rest day at point perp if you like trad and exposure. Definitly don't limit yourself to Tompsons point, but dont miss it either, there are clasics galore there. At the moment my favourire place is the Grotto. but there are many other quality crags about the place. This is probly one of the best times of year to visit, lots of friction available whick is often lost due to sweat in the summer. If you are up for a trip there give us a yell and I'll hook you up with a partner and all the beta on where to stay and what to do. "anyone climb at P.C. lately?" Well I would if I could, but there are only around 2 climbs in my range there. Nick.

Yeah, there's a guide - Rockclimbing at Nowra, Rod Young. Should be in most of the climbing gear stores in Sydney. November might be starting to get a little hot, but you can always go for a swim when it gets too much.
