I went up to the obed last weekend, despite all the advice from friends that it was supposed to rain all weekend and it was VERY worth while. First climb that i put up was totally soaked, but was Rocking Chair 5.9 and was decent bit harder than it shoulda been though. after that i went out past the stephen king library to where paleface is, and did a couple leads there that were absolutly fantastic. short of the story is the climbing was fantastic and i ended up leading some of the best climbs that i've gotten on, certainly my fav climbs are out at the obed. and contrary to popular belief you CAN climb there when it's rainin, that is if you find the right areas:P lol. it's awesome:D

did you stay at del's?
one of my favorite winter destinations
i miss the dogs
never have checked it out in the summer months
don't know if'n i wanna
its hotter than hell down here right now
ps...once i went climbing and one of my roomates was supposed to take care of the house ferrat (i'd rather sleep with a rat'sass)...well it froze...poor bastard

well... i have two rats as well, lol. yeah i stayed at del's it was awesome, was hot, yes, but amazing climbing. wasn't too bad over all. and ferret's smell worse the MORE you bathe them, causes them to produce more oils

I'm so glad you had fun... Sorry we had to run so fast... Are you ont he road yet? I have to teach dance camp all week then I leave for Dal Holllow Lake, and then Im back working at camp... I never get to slow down... anyways, stay in touch... it was really fun meeting you and hanging out... peace

You said you stayed at Del's? I thought he closed his campsites down, that's what i read on here. If he re-opened it, that's awesome. I was said to hear that he decided to close it.
