According to 8a.nu, Charlotte Durif spent 5 days shredding the Gorges du Tarn, onsighting 1 13a, 7 13b's and one each 13c and 13d (which was also her first 13d). She's 13 years old...

Yeah....I've been on the 8b she onsighted...30 - 35 foot runouts are the norm, and it is 55 meters long, with a hard crux at the end.
13 years old you say...!!!!!

I had never heard of her until today. Surfing thru the french web : I found she flashed her first 8a at 11, and won 70 of the 74 competitions she attended... :shock:

Actually I guess she (charlotte) "only" onsighted 13c, Katie is still the only femme to have onsighted 13d, not to mention flash 14a...

i thought the 14a katie flashed was in the Red and got downrated (omaha beach??)... but regardless, they are both sick. katie DOES look happier and healthier than when she was the IT child... mad props to Charlotte though... some people may go ahead and roll their eyes, but any way you look at it, she's a better climber than any of us.

74 competitions seems like a lot for a 13 year old. I hope she doesn't have someone pushing her too hard. But 10 5.13 onsights. that sure is impressive.
