I had a climbing partner once, he was a great guy. Great climber too. Anyway, we were coming back into town from a great days climbing and he asked if he could put a cd on. He had been promising to bring cd's for weeks, so I said ok. God bugger me if it wasn't Insynk! I was steaming fit to bust.how could he?? After he played it he asked if I wanted to put one of my cd's on. How could I put one of my cd's in that player after he had had that crap in there?? What if my precious Pearl Jam cd got contaminated? I said no. It bothered me so much I bought a new cd player for my truck.I've never climbed with him again. He kept calling on the phone, leaving messages, wanting to know why I wouldn't talk to him. That freak didn't even know! One day he turned up at a crag I was at. I just had to leave. He ruined a great days climbing for me. I'll never forgive him for tricking me into climbing with him. He should have told me he was an Insynk fan. It's the kind of thing you want to know about before sharing a long ride with someone. some people might say it's not important but they are wrong!I'm warning y'all, watch out for them, they are everywhere.

In reply to: I wouldn't know someone that likes N'sync! same here... i'd be like asking them this just after "are you a climber" question: "what music you listen to" they'd be like "well, i just got this new album by this great band" i'd be:"cool, what band is it?" they: "Nickleba......" (***TADIE WOULD THEN RUN FULL TILT AWAY FROM THE IDIOT***) "...ck." i'm not that big of an asshole  , but like 99% of my friends like the same/similar music i do (metal, REAL ROCK, classic rock, funk, reggae, jazz, some alternative, and some other cool stuff)

I read a little blurb somewhere - an interview of a young holllywood star (can't remember her name, but I think was in that remake movie with jamie lee curtis?) ... anyway, she said she liked to dance to "early britney." I almost peed my pants. I'd be a little scared of someone who genuinely liked NSync. An embarrassed admittal of liking a tune is one thing, but owning albums is a whole nother ballgame.
