It's that time of year again- as the season winds down (for most of us), it's time to put our respective houses in order and do some autumn cleaning. To that end, don't forget to look for and help out with your local Adopt-a-Crag days. Aside from being the responsible thing to do, most of these end up being just plain fun, often with parties, raffles, and the like to add to the day's adventures. For a local Adopt-a-Crag in your area, go to: http://www.accessfund.org/events/aac_events.php There are two in Colorado that are not listed, though. The Celebrate Eldo crag cleaning day is September 11 and is followed by a party at The Spot. (Info: http://www.aceeldo.org/...rado/activities.html) The Flagstaff Trash Bash is September 17. Contact Willie Mein at willie_mein@hotmail.com And while I'm at it, I'll plug my own- the team I coach has organized its 2nd Annual Adopt-a-Crag day at Castlewood Canyon State Park in Franktown. There will also be a shoe demo from Evolv at the cleanup, so come out and get some free stuff, try some great shoes, and help us clean up a pretty spiffy climbing crag.
