I'll be up with my family in Mammoth from this Thursday till Labor Day and would love to find a partner for a day/few hours for some local climbs. I lead sport safely to 5.9, trying the 10s and can set up bomber top ropes (which I will do for my brother and niece.) but I'll go crazy if I can't push myself. It would be great to find someone with experience. I'm 32, male, safety conscious, all around good guy. I have all my own gear, and just got the new guide book!

How do you get to Clark's Canyon. We tried to get there on Memorial weekend and could not find it.

Buy the new Marty Lewis Mammoth guidebook to find Clark's, that way you'll have lots of new options to choose from when you can't find a place to park at Clark's. By the way, if you don't like driving in reverse on 1-lane roads, you're better off avoiding Clark's this weekend... Owens will have a lot of people there, especially with the cold snap, and it's probably easier to find partners (predicted high of 82 in Bishop - i.e. 60's-70's in the shade at Owens).
