I am going to St. Petersburg during June. I have heard of a wall to the north of there into Finland, some 75 miles away. Does anyone know about it, or any other climbing opportunities around there? Jeremy

I lived in St. Petersburg for a while (love it!) and I don't remember seeing any climbing areas in or around the city. It is FLAT... Maybe as you get closer to Finland you can find something, but not along the gulf. You may have to stick to climbing buildings and trees. (Unfortunately, I lived there before I started climbing, so I wasn't looking for rocks to climb) You'll be there during White Nights, so if you do find some climbing, you could climb all through the night!
