Hello,
Looking for a partner to do some sport climbing with at the New. I live in Raleigh, NC. Someone in the area would be best to split gas costs (hey I'm poor :lol: ).

What level? Do you know your way around there? I've wanted to get up there all summer but my climbing partner can't get away. I've finally got an opportunity the weekend of September 25th, but my partner can't get up there. I thought about looking for a partner for NRG. I'd resigned myself to a solo backpacking trip in the Smokies, but maybe I could be persuaded to reconsider. I'm a rather weak climber, which is why I ask about your level. Feel free to PM me if it's a possibility.

Andy, I'm going to be at the new a lot in the coming weeks. Not sure what my availability will be, but let me know when you'll be there and it's possible I'll be there already and we can meet up. Right now I'm working my way into 11's and working hard 10's pretty consistently.

I have been blessed to live in Beckley W.V.....not but 25 minutes from the gorge. I know quite alot of crags anywhere from Endless wall to Bridge Butress and Junkyard wall. Can take u n e where from a 5.7 to a 5.13! Unfortunately I can only climb on a few free Sundays. I work alot! But, if you plan in advance ( a week or 2 ) we can make arrangements to climb. I have all gear needed for the both of us.And if u need a place to camp I have no problems helping u find a spot and letting u borrow all camping gear needed for the weekend.
