check out this place. It opened in Denver about three weeks ago and it rocks. Locally owned and operated, excellent customer service, and very cool people own it as well. If you live in the Denver area, go down there and check them out, if you don't, then hit 'em up online. :) http://www.savoryspiceshop.com/ Tell 'em Todd from rc.com sent you their way. :)

How cool. My wife would love this place. Thanks... we'll look it up if we're ever out in Denver.

I think it's soooo cute when Americans get excited about fresh ingredients. Really, I do. Too bad you folks aren't allowed to buy unpasturised cheese or anything.

Awesome - always lookin' for good spice/herb shops!!! I'll be sure to check out both sites (albeit, I just moved and have a rack and an entire cabinet overflowing w/ various bottles). Good luck to your friends, Todd!

In reply to: Show off. Sorry, couldn't resist. And, unfortunately, still can't resist, which might explain my ever-expanding girth.

That's why Aero bars are so good... pure, unadulterated goodness and one of the things I miss the most living so far from the border now. MMMmmmmm.... http://www.britsuperstore.com/acatalog/areo.jpg

Indeed they are - I think they have a store just blocks from me..and I've never been there. I'm ashamed of myself. But I'll check out the new peeps once I'm out in Denver - always looking for good cooking supplies. Very cool stuff.

The other plus I forgot to mention is that if you stop by in person, they will let you sample any spice/extract/blend they have on the shelf... in fact they encourage you to do so, which is pretty rockin'. :)

vietnamese cinnamon is soooo much better than your generic cinnamon. it has a better flavor and it really does make a good cup of coffee. try coffee with whipped cream on top and then the cinnamon sprinkled over top, oooooh so good!
