Im a noob to the sport of slacklining. we usually just use a come along, but we are trying to set up a decent line without it, and the one we have now is ok...but its really loose. I used to be able to do laps on the one with the comealong, like 5-6 laps on a 30' line. And now the same line without the comealong, i cant even go the 30'. Now i know that the 3:1 and 6:1 are tightening systems...but can anybody explain to me what they are...how to set them up...would this help in making my line tighter without the use of a comealong? thanks stuff-n-junk, josh
