In reply to: In reply to: Man, how the heck do ya cook for 14?? Nice going winter! I'm glad you had crush time. ;) Is your furnace fixed yet? Similar to how Grant (which one ;) ) cooks for 40 - just less... ;) - d. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Sorry you didn't make it dude, wasn't quite the same. We never did the last day diner either :( I did hear you had got out cli**ing last week though so I trust you're a little less injured. And for reference, the song of the gathering was "Piano Man" with a special 9am Saturday breakfast lyric rendition. cover those ears.

In reply to: In reply to: Man, how the heck do ya cook for 14?? 14!?!?! try 30-50 ... many props to grant and grant and whoever else brought food (my cookies lasted like 2 hrs or less once mr darkside got a nose in there haha) T and Macherry... the more reason to show up next year for the "who cares where Jules is we're still going to Rumney" Gathering I hadn't realized that sport climbing was so much fun. While I'm still very much a trad aficionado, I'll be back up to Rumney. Seeing you in the coffee shop, Jake, is... weird. T

Well Tai could have been worse, glad to hear that it was only a heel and not a head. Maww, cooking for 14 is very easy, you just make lots. (and you start at 1 for a 7 pm dinner, and you have 2 people). Um, my furnace was never broken....was that supposed to be an inuendo that I totally missed?? I'm still giddy from the weekend, I sure do like that crush!

One 5.6 route, whilst doing belay duty the rest of the time.. And yesterday I bouldered the evil v0 slab at Bull Creek - which went to show me, that I do NOT trust my knee (yet) on highball slab bouldering. I WILL GET BETTER DAMNIT! No diner, either? :( I'll definitely have to make it next year. :) SING ME A SONG OF A DRUNK CLIMBER... SING ME A SONG TONIGHT. "Hey guys, got any more redbull?" :) - d.

Morning Grunts, Back at the slave show. Kick ass fucking weekend. Great seeing old friends and putting faces to some more imaginary friends. Mel, sorry we didn't know we were supposed to give you some birthday spankings. I'll take some of that coffee and bacon. If the cooking's done, I'll get on cleaning the pans. That's how life should be: sleeping in a tent in the yard, getting shit faced every night, communal cooking in the morning, climbing all day.

I have no problem admitting that sport climbing is fun; considering that this past weekend was only my second time sport climbing - and only my first time in the States - I really didn't have much to compare it to. balls? In reply to: In a similar vein - how does a sport weenie differ from a trad weenie? Is it that sport weenies are more athletic and robust, but finish faster, while trad weenies take more time and care with their placements and finish leaving both partners satisfied? T hmmm... well a traddie's weenie gets its nuts stuck in a crack.
