Given the growth of drunk climbing, I was wondering if it wouldn't make sense to have an additional "D" rating to signify the subjective effects of alcohol on a particular route? Clearly some routes, like the hard to protect, scary sandstone routes become a little easier once liquored up, while the balancy physical ones with good protection just become a little harder unless they have sharp edges that are easier to hold onto forcefully when you can't feel the pain. I think a rating system could help the drunk climber know what they are getting into. Also, could we have a drunk climbing forum in the specialty secition? Given that some of the people I climb with are a little up tight and I have to keep my personal exploration of my under the influence climbing limits to myself, it would be nice to have a place where I could talk to other people about it.

The should have special "D" rated roads and "D" driving lanes. Given that some of the people I drive with are a little up tight and I have to keep my personal exploration of my under the influence driving limits to myself, it would be nice to have a place where I can drive with other drunk drivers.

I think we should subcharacterize this new D rating to specific alcohols. Coors light should be a D--, More substantial beers should come in at a D-, wine or pansy whine coolers at D, Mixed drinks maybe a D+, Whisky D++, and whisky strait out of the bottle to try to curb a wicked hangover at 9:00am Df*ckin+++++. The later is probably why I usually end up bouldering on the weekend at Josh.
