Found a tri-cam that was lodged pretty soldidly up at Weir, Quebec...
But I can't really tell whether or not the sling should be replaced. Feels fine, no discoloration, but definately not brand new. My plan is to use it as a backup piece, never as a main piece of pro.
And tips on whether having the sling replaced is worth it? Is it not worth it to take one unit? How much does it normally cost, etc.
As well, any tips outside of the obvious to check nylon quality. Like I said, it feels normal, looks used, but not frayed/discolored/stitching looks solid.

Based on your shared obserevations, I would happily add it to my lead climbing rack. I have 3 tri-cams that I've bootied and added, similar condition to your new piece.
Cost of new unit about $16.
Cost to resling, dunno.
Can you resling by driving that pin out and then replacing that pin?
