*sigh* I ask this every year, and it never does me any good. But it's a new year, and the PA Climbers thread is fo' real, so here goes ... Anyone wanna climb with me on black friday? I will be in Central PA for the T'giving Holiday. I am willing to drive to Chickies, Moc, Tillbury, or Bellfonte. I like The Trad, the bolts, and even the TR. Sometimes I boulder. Any takers?

haha... I knew it. The second I saw your name, O'Kyak, I knew what you'd be asking for! Unfortunately, I can't be of any assistance. Best of luck. If you're looking for bouldering partners (Gretna, perhaps) may I recommend norope.com? randy

Hey, I'm an 18 year old male student at Messiah College (Carlisle/Harrisburg area--very close to Climbnasium) who's lookin' for people to climb with. I'm into just about all forms (Sport, Trad, and Bouldering) and would love to meet someone in the area to climb with. I'm originally from Lock Haven, PA, so I have a very limited experience in the area. I've been to Shaffer's Rock and White Rocks, that's all. PM me if you're interested and/or in the area. Even trips to Climbnasium would be cool. Thanks. Ps. I just joined the Pennsylvania Mountaineering Association, any other members out there?

Friday is the day ... who is coming outside to play? weather.com says 45 degrees F with 0% chance of precip, winds at 11 mph. Now, the important question ... what will be dry in Central PA? I guess I was figuring on Chickies, but will it still be wet from today? Denny? wallliz, you still in? What rocks should we climb?

hey denny, that place looks nice but it's 2.5 hours drive for me. Something near Lancaster or York would only be 1.5 hours for me. Any ideas?

In reply to: hi. ive been climbing for a year and i have about 2 or 3 friends who seem to becoming committed to climbing. i certainly would love to be part of the "PA Climbing Club" or whatever it would be called and i think i can speak for my climbing dudes and say they would too. however (and i am NOT volunteering) i think some central organization would be very helpful to our cause. not to mention a better means of communication (i.e. e-mail newsletter). just my nickels worth. If you want to call it a club, have at it. It's merely a thread for us PA climbers to post up in so we can talk to each other to arrange climbing plans and so forth. Email Newletter? That idea was brought up but fell through-
