Used to play guitar. Bebop, mostly, and a three piece funkabillysurfmetal band that helped pay for college. Now I have no technique, and mostly play laid back drunken bossa nova. I have recently discovered the awesome time-waster that is Garage Band, however (new imac composition program). FRICKING SWEET.

Played saxophone (all varieties, though I particularly enjoyed the baritone and alto and never really cared for the Tenor) all through high school. Was in jazz band. Didn't want to pursue it as a career (I wasn't terribly good, I was one of the better players in the school, but by no means a musician...I couldn't and still can't improv for my life!). I also played cymbals in indoor drumline. :) I was one heck of a mean cymbal player too. K.

Classical violin, Cape Breton fiddle (and a little bit of old-time), mandolin, treble and alto recorder, and piano. And a handful of chords on the guitar.

I played the drums in school (including most other percussion instruments at one time or another) and I can play a mean version of Ode to Joy on the tin whistle for my 2 year old. :D Does that count? Hee Hee!

Who in a million years, could have imagined that a bunch of dirtbag climbers were actually refined and educated classical musicians... BTW: Frank Sanders (bigwally) is a classical pianist, and he told me just last night, that he has a new "baby" on the way!

I am hoping to learn the piccolo trumpet or euphonium sometime soon. I also think it would be really cool to play a contrabass saxophone. ____________________ I refuse to accept your reality and substitute my own.
