I don't think so.. i wish i had been able to be up and left(looking at the boulder) to show the distance to the hold and size of the hold she's going to better.. the lighting isnt horrible but not great either.. kinda flat
In reply to: i try not to comment on her.... eee... back, because she looks like 12.... good call.. she's 14 but is an incredible climber and pretty photogenic since she tends to be pretty emotional when she climbs.. either way. happy or upset

Hmm... having her centered like that kinda gives the pic a "plain" aura somehow. I'd also like to see an angle from higher and a bit left, I suppose to cut out the sky and show more of the face. I wish *I* knew girls that climb. :( The pictures are always so much better.

yea cold.. thats what i'm saying.. Unfortunately the way people were standing around and since i was climbing also i did not take the time to get on top of the boulder and get that angle.. i shoulda.. but it's hard to split the time to shoot and climb and get great shots (it was a nice friction day.. sends had to be made and projects toppled) ah yea. she's sponsored by mad rock maybe i shoulda focused more on the shoes eh? 8^) if i could ever bring myself to just taking pics for a day i'd have a lot better luck getting more quality shots instead of random pick up the cam and shoot style's

the colors are all really flat, looks slighty underexposed, nothings really happening. I agree with cold, up and left. Out of curiorsity how good is she?(i'll be honest, i want to know how good you have to be to get sponsered, think madrock...)

she boulders V7 and sport leads 12's and one 13a(bottom feeder) recently at the Boulder Morty ABS comp she flashed 4 out of the 5 finals routes i think the easiest one(or at least it appeared to be) was ~v4 http://www.8a.nu/cgi-bin/scorecard/show.cgi?view=4472&page=1 her brother is Vasya if you've heard of him has climbed 14b(China Beach 6-8th ascent?) and bouldered v11/12 at 17yrs old there are different levels of sponsorship too.. some get free stuff.. some get sent to comps.. some get discounts etc.. you'd have to talk to someone more experienced what the criteria are

And leave the mediacore shots to us climbing with less talented, fat and ugly dudes....

lol i actually sent that V1 she's climbing before she did.. we laughed about it at the comp.. she's like yea.. i climb V7 and i was getting my ass kicked on V1.. what the hell haha it was the only route that i was around to take shots of.. like i said.. picked up the camera.. fired.. put it back down.. chalked up. climbed haha it was cloudy so the light was crap and all that.. mostly posted to confirm my thoughts about being up and left .. i was hoping more of her facial expression would come out cuz she was majorly desperate trying to almost mantel onto her finger tips she's locked off so far i took some pics last year of Vasya working on Urban Surfer 13b/c(?) on Juliana's camera but they are practically lost forever on her moms computer due to no CD burner and a super slow connection with no way of editing them down to reasonable size :P i told zeb when he decides to work The Fly i'd take pics for him
