I am trying to plan a last minute climbing trip in the US over Christmas or somewhere overseas if not too expensive getting there. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I was asking myself the same question a couple months ago. Then my friend comes up with this idea to make a pilgrimage to the Alps for some ski mountaineering. I'm really excited because I'm thirsty for more knowledge and understanding of alpine environments. My limited alpine climbs have been some of the most rewarding experiences of my life and Im determined to become more comfortable with the altitude and exposure of big mountain climbing.

So for 3 weeks Im going to climb, ski, and drink my ass off In Chamonix and Val D'Isere. I just hope I can capitalize on this opportunity and become a more well rounded climber.

Good luck finding your holiday adventure.

Jeff

I went to Red Rocks for 4 days about 2 weeks ago and it was great, 2 of the 4 were a little cold but we still climbed all day all every day of the trip. you just have to stay in the sun, and you're probably stuck just cragging cause it would be too cold on any long climbs. Have Fun
