Hey, I just moved to Atlanta and discovered climbing. I have only been to indoor gyms, and I am looking to get as much practice as I can. If anyone is interested in going with me sometime, let me know. What I lack in experience, I will make up for with a great attitude!

I would recommend going for Climb Match at Atlanta Rocks' intown location. It's held on every other Wednesday and it's a good way to find climbing partners and make connections. Also if you climb at the perimeter location on Tuesday and Thursday nights and you're not shy about introducing yourself to people there are a lot of people who show up and find a belay partner once they get there. I think Thursday night is a big night for Bouldering at intown too if that's more to your liking.

I just started climbing this fall, so I'm an Atlanta beginner too, and I need a partner. I climb mostly at Wall Crawlers gym, but look forward to getting on some real rock this spring. Let me know if you'd like to hook up! JL/Atlanta

I live in Roswell, just outside of Atlanta. There is a nice local crag here called Allenbrooke, on Vickery Creek. Also Boat Rock, though very hard on your hands and shoe rubber, is a great place to really practice your technique and develop your game. Atlanta Rocks is alright if you have to climb indoors.

I'm up in Alpharetta for my last week. My parter and I will be climbing at some point Sunday afternoon at Atlanta rocks. We're pretty new at climbing too. If anybody wants to meet us at the Intown ATL rocks we'll be there. Just look for a tall white kid( me, John) and a short white girl (my partner). If anyone wants a to get in touch and work out time or anything just send an Email at neozeo_008@hotmail.com
