Hey Midwesterners! I have a lot to say here: 1) I have talked to some people, and we are planning a little get together @ Vertical Endeavors on Saturday, June 29th. Vertical Endeavors is in Warrenville, http://www.verticalendeavors.com 2) I am in the stages of planning a trip to Devil's Lake in either late July, or early August. I was also thinking of either a 1 or 2 day class up there taught by Solid Rock Sports (Milwaukee) or Vertical Endeavors, ranging in price from $55-85. So...if anybody in this area is interested, please contact me (jennifer-miller@attbi.com or PsalmAdventurer on AIM). I hope to meet some of you in the near future! Climb every chance you get this summer! Jennifer

My girlfriend (hardcoredana) and I are planning on being at Devil's Lake the last week of July. I'm sure we could climb together a few days or something. What time at VE on that day?

Hey that would be great about Devil's Lake-thanks for responding! Um, we have not talked all that much about time yet. What time is good for you? I would imagine it may be like 11:30AM, although maybe afternoon (after 1) is better?! Jennifer

I really don't like VE, but I'll go just to meet some fellow rockclimbing.com members. Anytime is fine with me, really. I don't work weekends, and I'm normally up by 7:00.

I don't think I'm allowed to climb at VE anymore. And actually, I think I've developed a severe allergy to the place. But I'm up for Devil's Lake!

Sorry, you can no longer count on me going to VE that day. Those assholes pissed me off again. Never again shall I set foot in that gym. edit: I set foot in that gym today. Had to speak with a good friend, who just happened to become the new facility manager... [ This Message was edited by: pianomahnn on 2002-09-11 12:27 ]

Well.. I will be up at the Lake once again this upcoming weekend (last weekend in July). A bunch of us will be running around, and plan on staying at Green Valley Camp Ground. We "should" have a slack line set up as well (it should be easy to find us with that). Otherwise, just look for the Adventure Rock camp site (over by the pond).. we'll be there Friday to Sunday. Feel free to stop by and say hi.. as to I have no idea where we'll be climbing.

I will also be at the lake this coming weekend. Should make for some fun. I'm just banking on getting one of those non-reservable sites. I hope I can get up there early enough friday. I'm pretty sure we'll end up in the ice age campground...

Stay at Green Valley man.. it's only a couple of minutes to the south shore lots from there, and you'll be garanteed a site. Just something to think about I guess..
