Sure I've peeked in there 2 or 3 times, once out of curiousity and twice because of a thread link. It made my eyes burn. I haven't lurked and feel would uncomfortable looking for something there, afraid of what I might find... like pawing through a woman's pocket book. I was tempted to respond to one thread I looked at but resisted the urge. Like, what could I contribute other than being a jackass??? The topics themselves seemed both alien and flame worthy, reaffirming it is no place for Dingus! Cheers DMT

Yup. Hardly a confession, as I don't feel I am not allowed... if anything, browsing the ladies room might leave some male members a little more informed and/or sensitive. I've even posted!

I have, on occasion, stumbled into the Ladies Room to see what the fairer sex are talking about. I even added one post there, when I thought that I could add something useful. I just make sure to lurk quietly, speak only when spoken to, and put the seat down when I leave...

From time to time, when a thread title in the forum index perks my curisoity. I do not care to read about thongs, feminine hygine, etc. That's none of my business, and I'd feel as if I were intruding into a private conversation. I do applaud RC.com for creating this room for the ladies... It's no secret that the brand of humor and tone of conversations here can be somewhat bawdy, and I can see how some of the comments could be offensive, particularily to women. So... I 'fessed up. :)

What if someone was a pre-op tran-sexual? Would they have to wait until after their "climbing trip" to Sweden to go into the Ladies Room? I'm not the above. I'm asking for a friend...

of course men look in there. all men want to know what women are thinking, especially if they are climbers. it's biological curiosity.

Funny you should mention this... I was in Europe a couple months ago. Must have gotten some bad food or something. I am like, I'll be fine, I'll be fine. Then I realize we have a two and a half hour bus ride ahead of us...no bathrooms on the bus of course. I won't be fine. I sneak away from my group casually...then before I know it I might as well be in a dead sprint...stiff cheek style. I find the bathroom FINALLY!!! Run in, jump in first available stall and procede to feel much, much better. Things calm down a bit, I notice a couple other people in different stalls, flushing, hand washing, the norm. Then about five minutes later everyone has left. I clean up and get ready to head out, and as I unlock the stall door (haven't opened it yet) two teenage girls walk in. Thank god 15 year old girls are so damn yappy or I would have had one hell of an encounter. Of course I lock the stall door instantly to think things over. Holy crap, could I be in the wrong bathroom? There is not way, I remember seeing the sign. Maybe it's a unisex bathroom...No...there were definitly two bathrooms. DAMNIT!!!! And of course, being 15 year old girls, in the friggen 10 minutes it takes them to pee, I hear about everything going on there lives. I mean EVERYTHING. Hell, I even wanted to jump in on the convo and tell her the boy who just said he loved her after dating her for 2 weeks and 3 days, might in fact, not be telling the complete truth. But finally I hear the door open and their voices fade into the distance. Time to get the hell out. I have been chilling for like 20 minutes waiting...just wondering if I would ever be able to escape. After a careful understall foot inspection, I am sure there is no one else in there with me. I run for the door and bust out into the hallway. Sure enough...and very obviously....the ladies room. I just made the bus and my friends never knew a thing.

In reply to: Funny you should mention this... Nice story... I used to date a girl at Bryn Mawr College (all women's school for those of you that don't know) and they had completely unisex bathrooms. Apparently, the girls that lived there didn't even read the damn signs. I've had toothpaste tubes and shampoo bottles thrown at me just for walking in... Oh well. They didn't think it was funny either when I asked them to spot me while I shaved my back*. *Please note: I don't really have to shave my back (not all of it anyways;)
