I have been climbing for a year and having loads of fun. My wife is my main
climbing partner and that only adds to the fun. It is good to finally have a
sport that we can do together. I am mostly interested in trad, but will take
anything I can get. I am heading to Oregon soon, early July, for a Windsurfing
hiatus, but plan to climb as much as possible. I am looking forward to hitting
some crags along I80 and I84. I have been leading 5.6 at Devils Lake, comfortably.
I have not been pushing the grades too hard because my main goal has been to
become comfortable on gear.</p>
Places I hope to climb this summer. Colorado (anywhere and everywhere), City
of Rocks, Smith Rocks, Other adventure crags around Portland, Lander WY, and
maybe even some time around the Tetons.</p>
I am an “adult” student for now and will graduate in April ’05
and will be moving someplace fun (main reason I went back to school). I am studying
mechanical engineering. I love anything that requires me to be outside submerged
in nature. I road bike, mountain bike, and windsurf.
