I've started climbing in 1996 on the cliffs of Cornwall (I can highly recommend Roland & Mark Edwards Climbing School http://www.compasswest.co.uk/). I don't get to climb often, but still enjoy it greatly and usually do so in San Juan, Argentina. There's a great climbing club (Club Andino Mercedario) who've opened up a good set of routes in the San Juan area (Calle 11).
