<P>Began climbing in 1977 in PA and the Gunks...and have since climbed across US and Europe. Developed over 450 new routes, over 300+ of which are at New River Gorge, WV. Author of <i>Training for Climbing</i>, <i>How to Climb 5.12</i>, and <i>Flash Training</i>, as well as a couple of guidebooks. <P>I enjoy traveling to new areas and meeting new climbers of diverse backgrounds. Although I like climbing hard, I believe the difficulty of a route is secondary to the experience of simply moving over stone. I also place high value in partnerships and the camaraderie of the sport.
<P>I live in Lancaster, PA with wife and two sons. We enjoy training on the home wall, as well as trying our hand at all sports.
