I've only been climbing a month and I just got my own gear recently. I'm really enjoying it so far! If anyone lives in/near Maple Ridge and wants to meet up at The Rock Wall in Maple Ridge PM me as I'm down there twice a week and it's always nice to meet more climbers.
I was born in Poole, England in 1982 and I've lived in Maple Ridge, BC, Canada with my family (parents and a younger brother) since 1999. We really enjoy it here, and we've all settled in well.
I'm a geography student with one year left in my degree. I intend to either go on to do a masters or do a PDP and teach high school when I'm finished.
