I've always considered myself to be a tom-boy because I was more interested in sports than clothes or make-up. My brother seems to think it's the "Virginia girl" in me because even the tom-boys in Cali know how to dress, haha. I started climbing in '05 and I can remember thinking as I clung to the rock on my first trad route... "Aren't I too old for this?" So maybe I'm not a tom-boy, I'm just a big kid who's too lazy to put on make-up and too cheep to buy new clothes. Anyways, I've come to discover I love climbing because it makes me feel the things my life has been missing since I graduated college in '02. I'm excited and eager to learn everything there is to know about our sport. And my hope is to never stop learning :)
