I started climbing when I was 17 in a local gym. Immediately, I was attracted to two styles of climbing: cracks, and aid. Both of which I have taken up with a passion. Crack climbing is by far my favorite style of trad (f--- bolted stuff, bolts are for anchors...); and I will always consider anything aid climbing. Interested in doing first ascents. I can lead about 5.9 sport or 5.8 trad; I still haven't gotten to the point where I can push myself. I paralysed my thumb and was out of the game for 6 months, so that put a HUGE damper on my efficiency. Technique and psychology are probably the two most important aspects of climbing.
