I have been climbing for the better part of five years now, with a focus on alpine, ice and trad climbing. I still enjoy sport climbing for training, and have virtually no interest in bouldering.
Luckily, I have been brought up traveling the world. Traveling and climbing has enabled me to experience ascents in several continents and meet some great individuals. My one true love is Chamonix; after living there and climbing the massif with its surroundings, I can assume that this region is the one that I know best and what I can consider ‘home’. Some regions that I spent time climbing in: New England, Alps (French, Swiss), UK, Scotland and I’ve dabbled in some regions in western USA/Canada. My next pinnacle trips are the Argentinean Alps (may change to Peru) and Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Besides climbing, I ski and telemark. I hate to say it, but despite skiing the west and the east, i miss skiing the Alps dearly, a little too ‘soft’ on this side of the pond.
I am always interested in meeting climbers, so if you need a climber in New England through me a shout.
