Description
When youre doing 5000 feet of climbing with only a few pitches of fixed rope, it pays to have minimalist gear like the CAMP Solo Ascender. By eliminating the bulky handle found on most ascenders, CAMP managed to make the Solo at a weight of only 5.1 ounces. You dont need a handle to cruise up a 70-degree slope on fixed lines anyway, so why carry one?
