Description

The Kapuchin Stick "The Ultimate Stick Brush Solution for Climbing!" • High Quality Red Oak Hardwood and Hardware • Durable Denture Brush • Blow Hole or camera attachment available • 180 Degree Adjustable Brush Angle • 6 Foot Aluminum Monopod (24”Collapsed) • Easily Converts into a Stick Clip for Sport Climbing • Works as a great walking stick!.......for those sometimes awkward adventures into the boulderfield. Now you can easily reach and brush that greasy, chalked crux hold and send your project with ease. No more standing on your buddies shoulders! It even has a blow hole for removing that last bit of chalk! The Kapuchin Stick is light, collapsible, and able to brush at any angle. It not only gives you an extra six foot reach, but it also doubles as a hiking pole for those sometimes awkward adventures into the boulderfields. See the Features page for details. The brush angle can be adjusted to point anywhere between straight up and straight down for hiking; 180 degrees of adjustment. We recommend keeping the brush closed against the shaft when using as a hiking stick (left picture). This offers the ability to brush a tricky side pull 10+ feet of the deck or a greasy sloper with no problem. The bonus feature is a blow hole for removing the chalk just brushed off the rock. Just blow through the hole at the bottom of the handle (left picture), and the air exits a specially angled hole in the wood housing (right picture). Most climbers these days enjoy filming or photography while they are climbing, so the Kapuchin Stick has the option (replacing the blow hole feature) for a simple camera attachment on the bottom of the handle (left picture). (Please Note: you can have EITHER the blow hole or camera attachment screw on you Kapuchin Stick, NOT BOTH. See FAQ) The Kapuchin Stick also makes a great walking stick. (Note: be sure the brush is closed against the shaft) Finally, the Kapuchin Stick can easily be converted into a traditional sport climbing stick clip by attaching a simple clamp. (See FAQ)
