great rope 5 out of 5 stars

I have had this rope for a while and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again, I actually like it better than my 10.5 Mammut just for the clipping action and the diameter. Ive had a lot of friends tell me I would regret buying a bluewater but it has held up longer than one guys sterling 9.8 and my Maxim that I no longer use. plus I bought it for 110 bucks vs. 175 for my Mammut and I hardly ever get the Mammut out

I really like this rope. Knots easily. Nice soft catch. You can usually find it on sale as well!

A very nice rope for gym and oudoors has nice stretch to it which makes for soft catches. It doesn't get demage by hanging on it ( by takes ) like my other rope did. I will definately buy it again this year and yes is also not that expensive only 150 CDN for 60 meters non dry.

It's caught me every time! I purchased the 50 M version, and it's great for gym climbing. I've been using it for about two months, climbing mostly indoors three times a week so I can't speak for its long term durability. My next rope will probably be a 60 M, but for a first time buyer it's perfect. The weight is good, and it's easy to clip. As a 6'4" 270 lb. climber I feel quite secure with the 10.2mm thickness. When it's time to buy my next rope, I'll be checking out Bluewater's catalogue for sure!

My favorite rope for both indoor and out. Very light weight makes it easy to haul on lead. It has a very durable outer sheath that resists chafing and wear making it a great rope for cragging. I think it is also available in dry-type for winter climbing and ice. I hope they keep this one in their line-up for a while.
