I got these cheap and cut the heel cord, making these shoes much, much more comfortable. The heel cup fits fine without it so I don't really lose that much performance.

First pair of shoes. After a long time, and much climbing, the velcro curls up. The Edging goes downhill after a few climbs. Excellent for smearing. It does take some breaking in.

This is a great shoe, edges well, hooks well, smears well.. the only problem is the cord in the heel makes them tough to get used to. If the cord wasn't there, they'd get a 5.

I give this a 3 for one reason - "heel hooks"
The heel cord keeps your shoe on securely, but can also be a real pain. If you are looking for an all day shoe, don’t buy these. I wish the toe was a little more pointed. The shoe isn't very sensitive, but the rubber is sticky.
I hope to update this post later with a modification for the shoe that makes it more comfortable, but still holds the heel tight.
The price was great I got them on sale for $69.
