25/7/9, 45g. The original wiregate biner. Designed for all kinds of climbing, the HotWire can do just about anything (ice, sport, trad) with its freeze-resistant wiregate and deep internal basket. I had the same problem with these carabiners, i always find them getting stuck on the gate edge and in the cross loading possition. besides that they are light and do the job.

obviously you all don't pay attention much. these wire gates suck! why? next time you climb notice how the biner floats around on a sling and gets hung up at the gate and unless you physically move the biner it will stay in the cross loaded position. far as i'm concerned i don't want the biner in the cross load position when i'm busting moves 15ft above my gear.
Hotwire should be a main stay for any rack

For BD Biners this is a great biner, capable of handling anything from my fat fingers & larger paws stress'n to clip pro. Besider I love wiregates & have pretty much given away all of my other gates.
Prices are fair or at least they were when I purchased mine. Highly recommend to any one wanting to build a rack without selling one's soul completely to the gear whore god.
